This unique coating can create a wide range of effects – from a deep marble grain to snakeskin appearance. Available in 2 versatile colors, but can be over-coated with Kandy to create any color you wish with an intensely powerful effect. The Kosmic Krome effect has evolved from the development of revolutionary aluminum flake chemistry. The final result can be a beautiful and interesting finish that, when combined with other HOK products, transforms into an entirely different realm.

Add to any of House of Kolor acrylic lacquers or urethane enamels, Intercoat Clear, Intercoat Pearl or Flake Karrier to morph your project into a truly hybrid creation. Color possibilities become endless as Designer Pearls may be intermixed with other Shimrin’s including the Neons, Graphic Kolors BC & FBC Metallic Basecoats and Kandy Basecoats to create a truly one-of-a-kind kustom finish. UKK01 can be applied as a medium solids Kandy (34% solids) or as a low solids Kandy (29% solids). Simply reduce and Catalyze the UKK01 and then add 2-4 ounces of any of House of Kolor’s KK Kandy Koncentrates to a ready-to-spray quart of UKK01 Urethane Kandy Karrier to produce the same vibrant Kandy Kolors as our current UK Kandy’s. House of Kolor's Intercoat Pearl and Flake Karrier is a basecoat clear that is designed to be used as a carrier for Pearls, Flakes, and other dry products offered in HOK's range. This product greatly reduces the settling of Pearls and Flakes after being mixed with other products. It also encapsulates the Pearl and Flake particles so when sprayed, the particles are self-orientated and locked into place, reducing blotching and streaking in the finish. Premium results are achieved when Designer Pearls are applied over a white or tinted basecoat to create an intense pearl effect. Pearl mica pigments are extremely finely ground to create an optimal, smooth finish.
